Centre for Genetic Physiology
Host: Department of Physiology and Pharmacology (Karolinska Institutet)

The core facility/platform provides resources and service for physiological characterization of normal and genetically modified mice. A focus is on cardiovascular studies of living conscious animals and on in vitro examination of isolated cardiac and vascular tissue. Read more

Type: Core facility
CETEG offers services of animal/human cell culture-based process up to 20L bioreactor scale. The available services are development of animal cell based processes suitable for industrial production of biopharmaceutical (e.g. antibody, glycoprotein) in view of clinical phase manufacturing, glycoprotein production for the manufacturing of material for toxicological tests or as tool for research, etc.. The CMB Microscope Facility has five fluorescence microscopes for fixed tissues and live cell imaging. The microscope can be used by internal (CMB) users and external users (other KI departments or off campus). Read more
