Image Peptide synthesis and cell-penetrating peptides

At the Department of Neurochemistry we have developed a solid-phase methodology to synthesize peptides, with the purpose to study different processes in disease. Furthermore, we study cell-penetrating peptides that function as cellular transporters through biological membranes, with the purpose to develop a system for delivering drugs across the blood barrier. Fully accredited laboratory for plankton analysis. Our facility serves for microscopic and molecular analysis for assessment of species composition, quantity, growth and metabolism of aquatic microorganisms. Read more
