Karolinska Institutet accounts for 40 percent of all medical research at universities throughout Sweden. The research we do spans a wide range of subjects, from basic sicence, research in molecular biology to public health science and care research.

Information
It is important to widely publicise the work it does. New research results are released through scientific articles and seminars, popular science magazines and exhibitions for the public and for schools.

The Karolinska Institutet Library, KIB, is Sweden's largest medical library and the country’s national resource library for medicine, odontology and care sciences.
